Privacy policy
AUKUS Defense (aukusdefense.com) is an independent news digest and explainer site. There are no accounts, comments or sign-up forms. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, who collects it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
AUKUS Defense is an independent site. It isn't connected to any government, military service or official AUKUS body. For any privacy question, email admin@aukusdefense.com.
Information we collect
Emails you send us. If you email a tip, a correction or another question, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, to act on your request and to keep a record of corrections. We don't sell it or pass it to anyone else.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical details for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser type. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure.
Visitor statistics. We use GoatCounter to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you. It records the page viewed, the referring site, the browser, the screen size and an approximate country. You can read GoatCounter's own privacy policy at https://www.goatcounter.com/help/privacy.
